Sherborne Town Reserves

7-2 (Away Defeat)

Match Report

Sherborne Town Reserves were left to rue a lack of togetherness as they were thumped 7-2 at Holt United in the Dorset Premier League.

An excellent strike from Chris Cowley was all the visitors to Gaunts Common could crow about at half-time as they trailed 2-1.

Despite still being in touch with Holt, the hosts piled on the misery in the second period, smashing another five past Sherborne keeper Ashley Knibbs.

Dwayne Forshaw netted a late consolation for the away team, as they conceded seven or more goals in a game for the third time this season.

Captain Jason Bond said: "It was another bad day at the office and people were not helping out each other"

Sherborne Town Reserves: Ashley Knibbs, Billy Greenaway, Jason Bond, Connor Dockerty, Ollie Foot, Tim Trevett, Chris Cowley, Dwayne Forshaw, Eden Chieza, Ian Jenkins, Aaron Lomax. Subs: Justin Hoffman, Chris Hedges, Ryan Trevett.
