Match Report

Sherborne Town claimed their first win under manager Jamie Manley after a hard thought win over their Bristol opponents, Brislington.

Both teams had their fair share of opportunities in the first-half, but it was Sherborne who showed their dominance in the second-half, having the majority of possession.

After 66 minutes, Sherborne defender George Kimber saw his clever angled attempt hit the post before a minute later, the deadlock was broken.

A corner found Sherborne forward Tony Cunningham who smartly headed in past the visiting keeper for his second goal since his return to the club.

The final whistle was met with joy and relief amongst all those connected with Sherborne Town Football Club.
